TekSolv aquires Hydrowatch

Newark, DE–October 7, 2013- TekSolv is pleased to announce that it has acquired Crawford Technical Services (CTS), a system integrator, which includes their award-winning Hydrowatch™ enterprise, Shale gas systems engineering, drive control system and PLC/automation services.

TekSolv and Crawford Technical Services first connected at the Shale Insight 2012 conference. Over the following 12 months TekSolv and CTS have been strategic partners in the creation of TekNet™, a real-time life safety and process data network that has revolutionized oilfield automation. This high-level solution is taking life-safety to a new level by integrating monitoring and control systems, gas detectors and alarms, and advanced communications. Its success is predicated upon the use of Internet and smart phone capabilities to alert authorized personnel of impending hazards in real-time through alarming, email and text messaging; processes working simultaneously keep oil and gas drilling operations safe.
