Who is Required to Submit Form 300A Data?
Establishments with 250 or more employees are required to keep OSHA injury and illness records.
Establishments with 20 to 249 employees in designated industries. See the designated industries here.
Establishments under Federal OSHA jurisdiction can use the ITA Coverage Application to determine if they are required to electronically report their injury and illness information to OSHA.
OSHA Deadlines:
February 1 - April 30: Form 300A Posted in Workplace
Employers must post a summary of the injuries and illnesses recorded the previous year in a location in which employees have access to it. This could be in a breakroom, on an employee bulletin board, in a common area, etc. If requested, copies of the records must be given to any current and former employees.
March 2: Deadline to Electronically Submit Form 300A Data
Data must be submitted through OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application. You can submit anytime between January 2 and March 2.
